John, slight disagreement. As I mentioned above, even without diversity phased noise cancellation my 6700 is still very competative to being the best rig around. What about another computing power PE…1 -

All household appliances require a safety ground or are you talking about RF ground - Not in the electrical code but an excellent thing to do.1 -

I don't have a PG-XL, but the safety ground must be part of the power plug and the RF ground is an external chassis bolt/connection.1 -
Re: Flex 6700 2 meter offset
Tried the same from the Maestro. MENU-MEMORY will switch from simplex to repeater up .6 correctly but again the display remains showing "SIMP" for both simplex and up 6001
